Lord. We can all tell what Natsume's been up to lately - harvesting, and staring at the moon. A lot.
First up you've got Harvest Moon DS Cute - which is simply a remake of the first DS game for girly types to play as their own gender - and Harvest Moon DS 2. Then, the tentatively titled Harvest Moon Wii, and for the PSP, you have Harvest Moon: Boy & Girl.
The DS versions are fairly self-explanatory - expect little new from Harvest Moon DS Cute, and the detail-scant Harvest Moon DS 2 is likely to be an improved, bigger version of the first.
The Wii's title sees you moving to an island "that was once enchanted...however it has been years since the mystical Mother Tree has shown any signs of life and the Harvest Goddess has vanished. The island has lost its connection with nature and the inhabitants don’t know what to do." Thus - cue you! You'll need to "till the earth, tend to and befriend animals, nurture friendships and build a family" to make the Harvest Goddess happy again in what Natsume are promising is the "biggest and deepest Harvest Moon yet".
Meanwhile, the PSP's Boy & Girl is, according to the press release, two games in one! Yes, they finally managed to fit males and females together. Destined for release on 31 July in America, you'll go through familiar farming chores, but "your life, goals, friends and future family all depend on how you help and interact with others in this wonderful world".
And that's about it for this edition.
