Sony's European division announced today that it will not be following in the footsteps of its American counterparts and be dropping the price of the PS3. Nor will they be introducing an 80GB model.
Instead, Europeans will, from 1 August (18 July in the UK), receive a "Starter Pack". The new, better-value-but-still-£424.99 option will include the PS3 itself, two wireless controllers, a copy of MotorStorm, and a copy of Resistance: Fall Of Man. Sony bosses took the time to note, however, that the two bundled games may change for certain European territories.
